Welcome to our blog!

Greetings!  We are two Arizonans who have spent our lifetime learning about and exploring Arizona.  We hope that anyone who wants to learn more about Arizona will visit our blog often.

Please email us with your questions you have about visiting the people, places and amazing man made and natural wonders found in Arizona.  We will be happy to share with you what we know.  We hope you will share with us your knowledge of Arizona as we too are constantly learning about our wonderful state.

We are retired public school educators who have been teaching, learning and "Finding Arizona" ourselves for over 40 years.  We have written two textbooks series for kids dealing with Arizona, both of which will soon be available as ibooks.

For the past six years, we have written for the In&Out of Anthem magazine in Anthem, Arizona - www.ioanthem.com.  Here we have had published over 230 stories about Finding Arizona under the heading "Get Out".   Here is a link to most of our In&Out "Get Out" stories - http://www.ioanthem.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogsection&id=15&Itemid=85   We are and always will be most grateful to Nadine Shaalan, owner and editor of the In&Out of Anthem magazine, for giving us the opportunity to write and share our Arizona stories in her wonderful community magazine.  You can always check out our new In&Out stories at this link as well.

We hope this blog becomes a great resource for you as you too go about Finding Arizona.  It is such a wonderful adventure to go on and may our blog be a friendly companion on your own Arizona journeys.

We wanted to share with you a couple of pictures and videos of a most special place in Arizona, the Chocolate Falls on the Little Colorado River northeast of Flagstaff.  Just a sample of never ending natural wonders found in Arizona!

Hope you visit with us often!

Here is a view of the Chocolate Falls (also known as the Grand Falls) flowing 30 miles east of Flagstaff.  Located on the Navajo Indian Reservation, this is a trip well worth the effort to get there.  This is a springtime trip after a big snow melt runoff.  We have good directions to the Chocolate Falls that we would be happy to share, so email us if you are interested.
